New painting, “For the Pups” Oil and Acrylic on Canvas

I recently finished this painting titled “For the Pups” as part of the new series I’ve been working on.  The nest is full of small possum babies, being fed by their mother overhead.  I got to use a lot of scraffito, or scratching, to give textures to the small animals…it gave them a really cool effect, especially when gone back over with a glaze.  This one is 12″ by 10″.  Sold!
